This past Sunday, you made it possible for us to serve at the church where it all began — Brussels Christian Center.
I had the joy of leading worship in the morning international service and serving on the team in the French evening service. Two languages, one church, one family.
We first walked through the doors of Christian Center in the year 2000. That same year we joined the staff, and for the next 14 years Brussels Christian Center was home.
This church and its leadership has opened ministry doors to us for years. And what grew out of those years still amazes us.
It’s where the ministry of the European Worship Institute was born and nurtured.
It’s where we connected with Terry and Ruthanne Hoggard and the Fellowship of European International Churches — a relationship that led to ministry opportunities in 13 other countries including serving on staff of The Bridge Church in Paris.
And it’s where we met friends Chris and Laura Christensen, who invited us to join the French worship group, ‘EXO’ and tour throughout French-speaking Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.
None of this would have been possible without friends like you.
We can’t mention Brussels Christian Center without expressing our gratitude to Jim and Anne Mills of Creative Arts Europe who welcomed us to Brussels and introduced us to the church; and to Pastor Daniel and Antonella Costanza who lead the church today and invite us to serve there when possible.
Thank you for making it possible for us to keep showing up in places like Brussels Christian Center.
