A Brief Message from Belgium

Thanks to friends like you, we’ve arrived in Belgium and are gearing up for meetings here and a ten-day ministry marathon in the Andalusia region of Spain. We look forward to sharing stories with you about the leaders you will strengthen.

With this email, we would like to ask you to join us in prayer for several friends of ours who are affected by the wars in Ukraine and Israel.

* Please pray for Tim Vashchyshyn, whom we met when he was a student at Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels. Tim has returned to Ukraine and pastors a church there. He is involved daily in relief efforts to those in need due to the conditions caused by the war. Please pray with us for protection and provision for Tim, who is married and has a young child.

* Please pray for Nolan and Hannah Tarantino, who are serving in Tel Aviv, Israel. They are experiencing ongoing attacks from Iran every night, requiring them to run to a bomb shelter at a moment’s notice. They and their four sons are weary – pray for strength.

* We have another friend in Israel – David Oaks – who was passing through on his way home from a trip to east Africa. There are no flights out of Israel due to the war so he is essentially stuck there. Thankfully, he has friends in Bethlehem and is able to stay with them. Pray for protection and peace as we he waits for a flight out.

The only reason these dear folks are friends is because you make our missionary work possible. We are thankful that God has connected us to them through YOU.

And because we are connected to them, so are you!

You really are making a difference!
