70 leaders. 15 churches. One powerful moment

Last month, you made it possible for 80 leaders from 17 churches to gather for worship training events in the southwestern Spanish cities of Seville and Algeciras.

That alone is remarkable.

But what happened during those gatherings was even more meaningful.

  • Leaders leaned in as they learned how to work better together as a team.
  • They engaged deeply in sessions about their roles as ministers, musicians, and multipliers.
  • And they laughed when I shared a story from our time at Cornerstone Church – when our worship pastor “developed” our servanthood by having us clean the church before rehearsal … including scrubbing toilets!

But one moment, in particular, has stayed with me.

A worship leader pulled me aside and asked for help navigating a difficult situation on her team. She was carrying the weight of it and wasn’t sure how to move forward.

We talked it through together and worked toward a clear path.

When we finished, I could see the relief on her face – just from having someone to listen and help.

And I thought, “this is exactly why these gatherings are so important.”

Training events like these are the only opportunities these leaders have for this kind of encouragement and equipping.

Many are serving faithfully in places where support is limited, but where it makes a profound difference.

And because of you, they experienced that difference.

Thank you for making moments like this possible.
