ConVerge Morocco Welcomes Leaders from Casablanca, Tangiers and Marrekesh

Our third ConVerge Morocco, held February 27 in Casablanca, was hosted by Casablanca International Protestant Church.

More than 60 leaders and team members from churches in Casablanca, Tangiers and Marrekesh attended the event which culminated in a Saturday evening of prayer and worship. The teaching team included myself and Belgian husband-wife team Barto Di Pasquale and Gaelle Lauret.

Although there is a vibrant underground church in Morocco, it’s illegal for a Moroccan to attend a Christian church. Therefore, those who come to our events in Morocco are west African French-speakers and English-speaking expats. Morocco is a hard country in which to live and minister and we are grateful for our friends there who represent Jesus to the Moroccan people.
