Focus at Brussels Christian Center

Our organization, the European Worship Institute, offers three distinct programs for: the local church, the regional church and the European church.

  • Our upcoming ‘Immerse Worship Camp’ is our most intensive training, open to any worship team or individual in Europe (within language limitations).
  • ConVerge, our most popular event, is our seminar for multiple churches with a specific region or country.
  • Focus is our most individual program where we work one-on-one with worship leaders or church worship teams to meet their unique needs.
I had the team break up into small groups during my teaching to discuss how God called them into worship ministry.
I love the idea of Focus Sessions because they allow us to zero in on areas of real need as opposed to trying to meet the needs of multiple teams as we do at ConVerges. Depending on the needs of the individual worship leader and/or the church, our program is customized to meet individual needs, offering several components including times of worship, times of teaching as well as times of fellowship featuring games, breaks and meals.

The idea here is for a worship team to get away from the busyness of life and spend time getting to know one another better, learn more about their roles on the worship team, and worship without the pressures that often accompany service times. Plus, we have lots of fun.

We often offer a Focus to the worship team of the church hosting ConVerge, such as the one we did March 17 for All Nations Fellowship in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain – the evening before our ConVerge Andalucia.

However, we also offer Focus Sessions for other teams as our schedule allows.

We closed the day with a time of prayer.
This was the case for our home church, Brussels Christian Center, where we offered a Focus on March 25 for their worship team. What a joy it was to spend time with this precious team, of which we were a part of for 13 years. Although many team members have come and gone, God continues to bring in talented people to serve on the Christian Center worship team.

Thanks to Brussels Christian Center and interim worship coordinators Tony and Wandie Gonzalez for the invitation!
