Thanks to friends like you, iYouth Camp 2026 is in full swing.
Today, you made it possible for me to teach a workshop to 33 teenage boys on how God uses ‘heat’ in our lives (difficult things) to shape our character into being like Jesus.
My analogy was the process of tempering chocolate:
I explained that chocolate isn’t ruined by heat—it is perfected by it. In the same way, God doesn’t waste the heat of our trials. He uses it to strengthen our faith, shape our character, and make us more like Christ.
Fun fact: This workshop offers a sweet bonus … a free chocolate bar to illustrate the point!
