You Helped Open a Door When the Olympics Came to Milan

When the world gathered in Milan for the 2026 Winter Olympics, you helped open a door for the Gospel.

As he has for the past few Olympic Games our friend, Ronney Joe Webb, joined an outreach team during the Games.

When we heard he was going to Milan, we reached out to him and said, ‘You have to meet our friends Josh and Becca Jones, who pastor Life Church Milan there!”

Ronney Joe showed up at Life Church Milan the first Sunday he was there, connected with the Jones and worshiped with the congregation.

That was only possible because of our relationship with the Jones that you have helped sustain for more than a decade.

Fifteen years ago, we met Josh and Becca Jones while they were serving in the Canary Islands. Over time, a friendship formed. Years later, they planted Life Church Milan in the heart of the city.

In the early days of that church plant, you helped make it possible for us to stand with them, travel to Milan and lead worship for the young church.

That investment strengthened a relationship that still stands today.

So when Ronney Joe arrived in Milan, he didn’t stand alone in a foreign city. He was immediately connected to a church already active in reaching Milan with the Gospel.

This is how the Gospel moves in Europe:
• Through trust built over years.
• Through local churches strengthened, not overlooked.
• Through connections that turn a solo evangelist into a connected witness.

Because of you, Ronney Joe didn’t just pass through Milan — he linked arms with the Church already there.

You may never walk into Life Church Milan — but your generosity did.

And the impact of that connection may echo far beyond the Olympic Games.

Thank you for making moments like this possible.
