Forty students and a volunteer staff of 20 teachers attended Immerse 2019, our third worship training camp. Held at Continental Theological Seminary west of Brussels, students enjoyed 12-hour days of teaching, worship, fellowship, breakouts and workshops.
Our teaching team came from churches in Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma and Nashville as well as from churches and ministries from Belgium and Spain.
We kicked off each morning with worship and devotions followed by breakouts on a variety of topics including songwriting, music theory, discipleship, and worship/intercession. After lunch, our EWI Spain coordinator Angela Greenwood led us in group activities and taking personality profile tests. Workshops for all instruments, vocals and sound were followed by a group workshop we call, ‘Putting in Together’.
Evenings consisted of extended times of worship, a message on our theme, ‘Hallelujah Here Below!’ followed by a time of refreshments, fellowship and live music at ‘Immerse Cafe’ in the courtyard.
We’ve already set the date for next year: July 2-4, 2020!
