ConVerge Returns to Istanbul

Our second ConVerge in Turkey was held March 12 in the Eurasian gateway city of Istanbul.

Hosted by All Nations Church, this event was small but mighty with 11 worship leaders, vocalists, musicians and sound technicians from 3 churches attending the from Istanbul and Ankara. Joining Jeff on the teaching team was Zach Lowrie, worship pastor of Brussels Christian Center.

There aren’t a lot of Christian churches in Istanbul so we were pleased to have three of them join us for ConVerge Istanbul. The location of the event was especially poignant as the church is directly across from a mosque. From the pastor’s window, you can look out and see people scurrying to prayer. What a great place at which to stand and pray for Turkey.
