Sixty Attend ConVerge Andalucia

It was our joy to return to Spain for the fourth time in as many years for our 2017 ConVerge Andalucia.

Rather than name this ConVerge after the country or our host city, we gave this a regional name as this event draws worship teams from churchs throughout the region of Andalucia, which is in the southwestern part of the country.

ConVerge Andalucia was hosted by All Nations Christian Fellowship of El Puerto de Santa Maria and organized by our Spain Coordinator Angela Greenwood, who has organized previous ConVerges in Barcelona and Cordoba.

What a gift Angela is to Spain and the European Worship Institute! Angela now only organizes our events in Spain but also serves on the teaching team.

At ConVerge Andalucia, the majority of participants were Spanish speakers with a handful of English-speakers.

Our teaching team was from Cornerstone Church in Jackson, MS and featured worship pastor Jim Young, Tim Temple and Brennan Young.

All Nations pastors Jose Almarza & Carlota Verdura co-taught a session with myself and Angela Greenwood on ‘What Pastor With Their Worship Leaders Knew’ and ‘What Worship Leaders Wish Their Pastors Knew’. I also taught a vocal class while a vocalists from a local church taught an additional vocal class.

Thanks to pastors Jose Almarza & Carlota Verdura and their church for hosting the event.
