Festival of Hope in Brussels with Franklin Graham Draws 14,000!

With 14,100 in attendance and 1,300 salvation decisions, the Festival of Hope in Belgium last Saturday (September 27) was a massive success!

Thanks to you, we were able to join the evangelistic outreach which featured worship groups ‘The Afters’, ‘The Tommy Coomes Band’ and ‘Charity Gayle’ followed by a sermon presented by Franklin Graham.

“We Are Amazed at What God Did!”
“We all cried like babies seeing the arena fill, then the first overflow space fill to capacity, and then the second overflow space fill to 85% capacity!,” said Allyster Taubeneck, who led the on-the-ground organizing team.

“And then of course seeing the altar response across the three spaces with some 1,300 giving their lives to Christ,” he added. “We are amazed at what God did!”

Allyster noted that the response rate to the altar call was ten percent of those who attended the event – compared to an average of just five percent in other European event locations.

“To God Be The Glory!”
The Lord honored this national evangelistic event, following months of prayer and preparation,” said Daniel Costanza, Brussels Christian Center pastor, one of the 620 churches in Belgium that supported the event, organized intercessors and volunteers, and trained counselors. “To God be the glory, great things He has done!”

“From all sides within the Evangelical community, there is a new sense of expectation, that, as churches keep on working together, God has greater things in store for this nation,” said Pastor Daniel. “To this end we need to keep the momentum in prayer and action!”

Thank You Again!
Thank you again for making it possible for us to join this historic evangelistic outreach in Belgium. Our hearts were blessed to see the Belgian church come together in such a spirit of unity and purpose!
