Partner Profile: “A week of camp can spark a lifetime of purpose.”

Thanks to you, we have the privilege of partnering with incredible leaders on mission in Europe.

Partners like Donnelle Johnson, who directs a ministry that’s shaping the next generation of European leaders: ‘iYouth Camp’ in Neustadt, Germany and ‘iYoung Adult Camp’ in Brussels, Belgium.

An Opportunity to Hear and Grow
Donnelle, of Denver, Colorado, has been part of iYouth Camp since 2001, first serving on the worship team and then stepping into the role of camp director in 2003.

“iYouth Camp has given thousands of teens an opportunity to hear the Gospel and grow in their faith,” says Donnelle. “Over the years, the camp has transitioned from meeting the needs of international youth to reaching European youth from eight countries—and most recently, from Ukraine.”

In 2023, former iYouth campers—now university students and young professionals—asked Donnelle to start a camp for them. That same year, the first ‘iYoung Adult Camp’ launched, giving young adults up to age 30 an opportunity to gather for encouragement, training, and spiritual renewal.

Grateful for You
Donnelle is especially grateful for you, our supporters, who make it possible for us to serve at these camps.

“For the past eight years, Jeff has invested significantly at these camps, helping to raise up the next generation of worship leaders,” she says. “In addition to his musical talents, Jeff is also a gifted teacher who encourages youth to be innovative and pursue the unique vocations to which God is calling them. And this year, we’re looking forward to Kathy teaching an art class at iYoung Adult Camp! We are thankful for the Slaughters and for all those who support their ministry.”

A Lifetime of Purpose
Having led iYouth Camp for more than two decades, Donnelle has seen how one week of camp can spark a lifetime of purpose.

“These youth are encouraged to pursue God with their minds, talents, and gifts,” she said. “Many will go on to lead churches, missions, and businesses that further God’s message in a hurting world. When you support the Slaughters, you are strengthening young leaders in Europe—one incredible young life at a time.”
